A crossdresser's thoughts on life, fashion, fabulousness, and (oh yeah) dressing up

What to do, what to do…

Just a very quick thought I have on my mind right now:  Last month, I was so rip-roaring to go show Allison off to the populace of Madison… only to have family matters throw me off and nix those plans.  This weekend, there’s another should-be-welcoming-to-a-girl-like-me event here in town.  And, yes, I’m tempted to go as Allison.  Of course, there are a few things that are holding me up: One is the fact that I don’t know what to wear.  Two is the fact that I need a decent pair of shoes, although the layout of the event may necessitate just a simple pair of comfortable sneakers.  Three is that I need to figure out the video capabilities of this new camera that recently dropped into my lap (not literally dropped into my lap, of course, but you get the idea); I may want to shoot some video of the event (though it won’t be the end of the world if there’s no video footage).  And four, of course, is my actually hoping that nobody in my family gets sick again or has a sudden change of plans.  Oh, and five:  Wondering if I should limit my plans to one day or extend it to two.  Decisions, decisions…

A part of the trans community ("cross-dresser" is the term that applies to me) who finds themselves much more expressive and somewhat more confident when presenting in a feminine persona. An admirer and supporter of those who are fashionable, fabulous, and friendly (LGBT or otherwise). Someone who tries to be witty and unique, but is not even remotely perverted or a pariah (I am a real human being, just like you). Using various writing styles on this blog to communicate thoughts and feelings concerning my life experiences, fashion sense, and the world at large (and maybe impressing my high school creative writing teacher who deservedly gave me middling grades).

  1. I definitely encourage you to go! I’m sure a good get-up outfit will come to you soon, and I do hope no change of plans happen this time! Please do document your time, if you end up going; I would love to take a look! 🙂
