Thoughts on life, fashion, fabulousness, and (oh yeah) dressing up from a full-time male who's a part-time female

Giving my blog a nip and tuck

Well, if you’re reading this blog at 9PM on Friday night the 17th, you’ve discovered that I’ve given my WordPress blog a rather noticeable facelift.  This is actually the 3rd theme I’ve given this blog since launching it last November.  The first theme was okay, but there was a lot of cumbersome negative space I didn’t yet know what to do with.  The second theme was all right, too, but the font size on the posts was way too large (come to think of it, it was that way with the first theme, too).  So, I pondered over several theme ideas (that’s the nice thing about having a WordPress blog, the variety that’s at your disposal to spice it up), and I chose with what you’re looking at right now–the “Yoko” theme. (Break it gently to the rest of the Beatles, please.)  I may spruce it up a little further, including creating what will hopefully be a super-cool header image.  If you have a constructive opinion on how it looks, or if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment below.  Thanks, and keep enjoying my own personal corner of the interweb.

Full-time middle-aged male. Long-time overworked office drone. Part-time female fashion plate. Amateur fashionista (emphasis on "amateur"). Admirer and supporter of those who are fashionable, fabulous, and friendly. A little bit silly. Absolutely nowhere near perverted. I am a real human being, just like you. Able to share thoughts about my life experiences, fashion sense, and the world at large despite middling grades in high school creative writing class (but at least I do look cute when I'm writing, so that has to count for something).

  1. Love this! I think this theme definitely represents yourself: bold, classy, but also sassy! Work it! 🙂
